Wogoman Weekly - Week 44

Love this photo! I found a cool tool on my camera that lets me do this. Watch out world!

Tenille has decided that these pictures with Bart are pretty boring !

This is how Tenille picks up the pillow to put her head on after she is done with her bottle.

Tenille is just moving right along. Tenille turned 10 months this week! Which is amazing to me! She did sleep through the night once and is eating pretty well for us. We are "officially" done with nursing and the freezer is now empty. She stopped nursing at 9 months and at 10 months exactly we ran out of frozen juice. So we are on to formula. She doesn't seem to mind at all. Her burps smell terrible and her farts are even worse. :) She still snuggles with me when she eats her bottles but it is a little different. :( Guess my baby girl is growing up! Tenille has mastered the shaking her head and saying no! So can't wait until she actually learns the word!
She did do the cutest thing this week, atleast in my opinion, she crawled to the food bowl again. J told her no in his daddy voice and she started crying. She took one look at me, said ma ma, and started crawling to me. She is already learning to play us off one another!
As for J and I, J got a big turkey this week(check out the blog for photos) and I had my 5th wisdom tooth removed. It went pretty well and I took an extra two days off of work to recover and I am enjoying them immensely! :) I still took Tenille to daycare so I have enjoyed this two days to sleep and heal up. We had a bomb threat at school on Monday which meant 75% of our students didn't come to school. So that was wierd. Then on Wednesday our school actually caught on fire and had to be put out. It was a dryer that caught fire in the gym. So all the students and staff stood outside for 30 minutes while everything was checked out.
The weather is so NICE today I am glad that I am not inside of the school. :)

Jason Got a Turkey!

It is Turkey Season here in Indiana and Jason got a big one! This guy weighed in at 30 pounds and had a 12 in beard! The check in guy said it was the biggest one checked in yet! Jason shot it behind my parents house. We will be eating the turkey and having the tail and head/neck mounted. I am so proud of him!

week 43

Watson/Wogoman/Troyer Family at Easter!

Week 43 – and guess what . . . we got sick! Tenille has a fever and is unhappy. Maybe she is getting more teeth. I have a sore throat and need a nap!

Major accomplishments for Tenille, she learned to go up 1 stair. J

We signed up for swim lessons this week. We are going to be learning to swim July 20th -31st. Depending on a conference, I may enroll her in another session in June. I am sure there is a show and tell day so mark your calendars for July 31st. I think because she is in the little people class and I have to get in with her, I think you can actually come see her any day during the two weeks.

I think she is saying . . . what in the world are you?

Jason and I went to a concert Wednesday night. I think we are old now because I think that is what has made me sick. That or Tenille being sick!

She tried chicken and noodles this week and chicken nugget. So she seems to like chicken! She has been playing in the big kids room (for the ones that can walk but under two) I can't believe she is getting so big so fast!

Cute thing for this past week: When she is done with her bottle, I burp her. Well, apparently my shoulder is too hard because she will now grab the pillow I use to prop her up, and put it under her head while we rock. It is so stinking cute! We have found her several times curled up with Marvin the turtle as a pillow in her crib.

That is about all I can think she did this week.

One of the many towels she has! This the fire deparment towel.

Even when sick she loves her baths!

week 42 photos

Got my camera back and got the photo disk from her 9 month photos!

Wogoman Weekly - Week 42

Well week 42 showed me what it would be like to be a stay at home mom. :) The staying up later and sleeping in later is awesome. Being at home with Tenille for 48 hours by myself . . . I think I could go crazy. :) I now have little kid songs running through my head instead of songs on the radio. Does that mean I am officially a mom?

I have learned to do things (cleaned all the windows in the house, and the screens) while watching Tenille. Jason has harnessed Tenille's love of the laundry to help us out. When the laundry is in the basket, Tenille will pick up a piece of laundry and hand it to you. Then we fold it and ask for another piece. Tenille picks out the laundry a little faster than we can fold so she throws those pieces on the floor and picks up another. When we finish with the basket, we put all the laundry that was on the floor back into the basket. Then she helps us fold those. She has a great time and talks the WHOLE time. I say thank you and she babbles at me. She seems to like house work. : ) That is good since I pick up her videos about 10 times a day! :) She just LOVES to pulls those suckers off the shelf. I know I should move them, but hey what would I complain about then?

Tenille has learned to "walk" with the help of a walker. I laugh because you learn to walk with a walker and someday she will probably need one again. Just like diapers. :) She motors pretty well around the house but get frustrated because she can't turn it and when she hits something we have to come and rescue her. The dogs have to move even faster now.

On Thursday Tenille finally discovered what dog food tastes like. She didn't seem to mind it. :) Thank goodness she only got one piece and didn't break it apart with her two teeth. The dogs didn't really seem to mind that she stole their food. Maybe because she shares her snacks with them, they don't mind sharing with her.

We had our first house showing on Saturday. The people loved the house but wanted to lot to be bigger. :( Jason and I are both ready to get on with the next step, if that is buying a house or building one. We have lived on the corner long enough and have been talking about selling this house for a long time.

We tried cut up pears this week she did not like them. I think they were cold and squishy so she didn't like them. :) We are giving her bits of our dinners. She like the green peppers and tortilla shells from our fajitas but did NOT like eggs I gave her for breakfast one day.
Well I left my camera at my Aunt's house for Easter so no pictures this week. They will have to come in another email. Check out the blog though(if you have DSL) . . . lots of videos!

Walking and Waving

I just can't believe that she is such a little person now! She is waving at everyone and wanting to share her toys, toots, and the laundry. :)

week 41

This is the new trick daddy taught her when she was home sick from school. She now will stick out her tongue on command!

As I type week 41 I still can’t believe that Tenille has been here that long! Holy Cow! Where has the time gone? Jason started playing slow pitch softball Thursday night. The Elkhart Fire Department has a team. I think he will be playing 3rd base. When I have a schedule I will l email it to everyone. Tenille had a great time watching them practice. I brought her dinner and some toys and we just played while they practiced.

We are attempting pictures this weekend. But of course I picked Tenille up from daycare on Thursday and she had a scratch all up and down her face. She got to go play with the “big kids” outside and scratched her face on the rope of the baby swing. We just can’t win with these pictures. First she is sick, then scratched. Huhhhhhh. I bet this never ends. J The pictures were ok on Saturday. She didn't want to smile at all. We got home and discovered that the CD with the pictures on it was blank so sorry, no photos from them yet. They are mailing the CD and hopefully I will get them posted online soon!

Tenille is perfecting her crawling and “helping with the laundry”. It now takes us twice as long to do the laundry because of her help, but it is so stinking cute I can’t help it.

I have tried to get a video of her dancing. She has a piano that J got her for Christmas. She loves to turn it on and then “dance” back and forth or up and down. Sometimes she does both! When I get the camera out she stops and looks at me like, “what?’ So this is my best attempt at it!

We went for her 9 month appointment with Dr, Barkow on Friday. No Shots! She did have to get her heal pricked though.

We went to Pokagon state park and stayed at the Inn over the weekend. Tenille did so well! We also went outlet mall shopping and got GREAT deals at the stores there. I was so tired when we were done. So was Tenille, she napped in the car after that! This is a picture of all the fun bath toys they have at a hotel, a water bottle, a door sign, two plastic cups, and a small bottle of shampoo!
Here we are playing by the fire . .. always safe!
Tenille and grandma played in the car while I finished shopping.

Hope all is well with everyone. Mark your calendars, the 1st birthday bash will be June 14th at Krider Garden in Middlebury with more info to follow.
