wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 25
I know much to your happiness we are starting to sleep again at our house. Tenille is starting to feel better and I think that is making a huge difference for her. We are eating better and sleeping better and are just more fun to be around. I hope you all enjoyed the photos this week. That night was really rough on me but I survived another day! :) Or maybe I should say night! Anyways, school is going well for Tenille. She is going there this week and next for 3 days each. I am going to use this time to get errands done and relax a Little! We are starting to use a cup! Thanks for the cup aunt brenda! We had a GREAT weekend. Because of the snow we stayed in, had a fire all weekend long, and just relaxed. What a great start to the Christmas break. I know I have shared with you many a story that is probably pretty funny to you all. I would like to add another: It answers the question, " How does Jason end up in the garage, sweating, out of breath, holding a gun?" Do I have your interest now? :) Like I said we had a fire all weekend in the upstairs fireplace. I thought I would make homemade pizza for dinner. I wanted to make the pizzas before J got back from hunting in the woods. So I put more wood on the fire and t and went to work on the pizzas. After making one I realized they were too small and I needed to make another. So we started over, just then the smoke detectors went off. In the whole house mind you. J and I both have this fear that since our house caught fire once it might do it again. :) So I calmly picked up t and turned all the fans on. I was pretty sure something had fallen of the pizza and was making the smoke. The house did smell like smoke but we were having a fire in the fire place! So I started opening all the screen doors and checking the house out. By the time I made it down stairs and opened that door, the house had aired out and the alarms turned off. So how does J come in to play with this story? Well, he was down the hill in the woods hunting when he heard the alarm. He said he sat there for a moment and thought, "what is that?" "huh that sounds like a smoke alarm. AHHHHH it is our smoke alarm!" and he started running, up the hill, about an acre or more away, in his hunting gear, with his gun, just running. By the time the alarms turned off and I came upstairs, I found J in the doorway, sweating, asking, "is that what I think it is?" No worries! Our house didn't burn down and the pizza was great! Well Santa is coming this week so I am sure there will be more good stories for you all to read later. Have a GREAT Christmas break. |

This just couldn't wait - too funny!
| Tonight after her bath Tenille pitched an absolute FIT if I didn't up these things on her. She is currently sleeping with the shoes one. Yep, that is TWO bibs and a pair of sandals. What a fashion diva! I can't wait to see what she comes up with next! I know I should wait for this funny moment for next week but this is SO cute! I am trying something new with my photos. I hope they load faster for you with dial up. Also, the elephant is supposed to go on humidifier! |

wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 24
Sleep, what a nice word. Sure wish we could get some of it! Tenille dozen't feel well and has given us all the daycare gleap as we call it. It is basically a bad head cold with lots of snot in her case. J has it pretty bad tonight. Our weekend consisted of being up from 11pm until 1:30am on Friday night. I finally gave up around 12:30 and just turned the lights on a started the bed time routine over. She took a bath and we read books and finally she went to sleep. Ugh! I tell you what, this one kid is killing us. And everyone wonders why we don't have 12 more by now! Don't get us wrong, we love our little pumpkin, but she is a LOT of work. Sunday night it got even better . . she wouldn't't sleep until 9:30 pm and then she got up at 4 am. That's right 4 am. At 5 am I brought her into bed with J and I. I never knew a kid could flop and hit you so much. But even in all this, she steals your heart. She sits up in bed, looks at me and says, "Hi ma ma. Booooo!" J and her play these games where they scare each other. So she just wanted to play. We made cookies this weekend and went to a fire department Christmas party. It was very nice. T got so excited that she grabbed the hot polish sausage and burnt her hand. Poor thing. She just had this look on her face like, why would anyone eat something so HOT? There were other girls to play with so she was pretty happy about that. One of them kept growling at her. She didn't really like that very much. Two weeks from today I am having my lasik surgery. I am one week into wearing my glasses and I HATE them. No fun. It is funny to see my kids, everyday one of them asks me if I just got glasses. Apparently that proves that they don't actually look at me very much. J They must be listening to my words of wisdom. J So 10 days until Christmas are you ready? Our biggest news is that I am typing this from my couch at HOME! We have the Internet. We have arrived out of the middle ages. We got a mifi which is like another cell phone and we get the Internet through it! It is pretty fast so that is awesome. Well that is about it. Enjoy the photos. Hopefully I will have one of her sleeping soon! |

pictures
Well in my rush to send out the email I didn't attach the photos . . I know those mean so much to you! The one is T in the fire truck at J's station, it is there for repairs. The other is candy making. And the best one is her opening her letter from SANTA! Yep, it is offical, she is on the nice list! So thank you Santa for sending the letter. It was so cool! |

wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 23
Well the story of the tree continues. J came home Tuesday night and worked so hard for us at fixing our tree. He had gotten a new stand and was ready to go. He got all the ornaments on there, it looked so nice. He went to the put the last one on, and declared, "This is the last one!" put it on, and the whole tree fell over. We only lost two oranaments that time. So it is with a held breathe that I type this. I hope that it stays up. There were lots of foud letter words when it fell again and then even more when I was trying to hold Tenille (who was crying) and the tree and I lost my grip and pointy needles went into J's ear. I think if it falls again, J threaten to throw it over the balcony into the woods. He told me I would have to be quick to get the ornaments off before he did that. :) It seems funnier now as I type this the it did Tuesday night.
After a week of looking at my sad mess of oranament pieces I decided to get out the super glue. I spent over an hour putting them back together. Most look like nothing happened. Then there is my most prize oranament from my great grandmother. I was able to put my name and the date back together and glue that back to the big piece that was left. I am sure that there have been a few times in my life that God has spoken to me and I was listening. (I think He speaks to me a lot, I just don't notice in my too busy world, unfortuantely) Last night was one of those. As I sat there with glue on my fingers I calmly heard a voice say, "It is just an oranament Tracy." And He is right. It IS just an oranament. I have many memories with her, I have other "things" that she gave me. Somehow the whole thing is not so meserible now. I know that Grandma wouldn't want me to be sitting on my floor crying about an oranament. She would want me to be up having a great time with my family. So I glued back together what I could and hung it back on the tree. Imperfect and missing pieces. It's just a thing. It still reminds me of her. On the Tenille front, we have her Christmas play. I had to stand up front with her. I had to bribe her with candy to make her stay. When she would get down with a piece she would say "Mor Mor" and give the sign for more. I am she the first couple of rows wondered what she was doing. Halfway trough she decdied to stop blowing kisses at daddy and go see him. So far a while I was standing up there by myself. Very nice. :) I also just have to say that it is hard on us when she doesn't sleep well but it is the most wonderful feeling when she does fall asleep on your lap rocking. She is starting to get heavy! But it is oh so wonderful when she is peacefully sleeping. Last night J took an hour and I took an hour with her. She just wanted to be up. So we heard lots of hey!s and ut - o! and juice . . . kinda funny now when it is not 3 in the morning. I know you all are wondering why this is so late. Well, we thought we were going to be able to get the internet out at our house and so I thought I could publish again from home Monday night. And low and behold, nope, the signal is too weak . . . ugh! So back to sending from home. On last note, Santa spent almost 2 hours working on putting a kitchen set together. Who knew there were so many parts? |

wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 22
We had a two hour delay this past week on Tuesday. What could be better? Tenille played right along and slept until I went and woke her up. Well, I went in there and she was laying on her back playing with her stuff animals so I guess she was already wake!
On thanksgiving day, we did two thanksgivings and ate way too much! Tenille spent the night at my parent's house so I could get up and get the bargains the next day. My bargains included getting a new battery for my car because it died at 4:05 am in the JcPenney parking lot. My dad had to come and rescue us (with Tenille of course). We jumped the car, took it back to their house, got a new car and headed out again. It was still fun. We of course did get our snow globe. We got our tree and decorate the new house. We got our tree at Ebys. We had Borntragers, Wogomans (2 families), Watsons, and Troyers (2 families) all there at the same time! Tenille got to see Santa. You can tell by the picture that didn't go well. Please notice the too small jacket on Tenille. She would NOT take that thing off! She did help J with putting the tree up. She tried to twist all the screws in. We were about half way done with decorating when I came home yesterday to find the tree fell over. It was so sad. An ornament that my great grandmother had gotten me was broken into little pieces. I sat on the floor and cried. Tenille didn't understand and so she came over and cried with me. She patted my back and tried to make me feel better. How is it at 17 months is already understands me? I had my awesome brother in law Jeff come and rescue me. I tried to put the tree up but it poked Tenille and she cried. :( I have all the ornaments in a basket. I didn't have the heart to put them back up there again last night. Hopefully with J's help we will get that done tonight. So that is about it. Tenille has a play this Friday. I will be sure to tell you all the details next week. |

Wogoman Weekly- Volume 2 Issue 21
Well we are gearing up at our house for the next crazy month and a half. I hope the holidays will be fun and exciting for you too! Tenille invited Jason to a "Thanksgiving" meal at daycare. They had a great time but Tenille had a melt down when J left. Maybe next year we will take her home after that Tenille is growling like a lion on command now. Here she is kissing the lion. No fear does this girl have! Her little mind is like a sponge. So I guess we have to be careful what she soaks up! You will all be happy to know that they have placed other kids beside Tenille at meal time again. So hopefully she isn't hugging Ryan or feeding him anymore! Her back molars are almost in. So hopefully she won't be having so much pain with them soon. She is a art making fool right now and they are sending it home with magnets on the back. So cool because then Tenille can put it on the fridge and take it off the fridge whenever she wants. :) Endless fun there! Jason got a big doe on Thursday. So I am one happy camper! We took the buck and doe to a guy here in Middlebury to process. I guess that means I need to "unthaw" my freezer as we Watson's say. Of course Cari and I saw New Moon Friday night. We got tickets ahead of time. The next movie comes out in June so maybe we will go to the midnight showing of that one! It was awesome and we had great seats. What could be better . . I just don't know! We had our first Thanksgiving with the Wogoman/Wanger/Stewart clan. Of course we ate way to much and had fun seeing everyone. Tenille needed a nap so she was kinda crankie for a good chunk of the day. :( The picture of her on the porch is with her girl cousins. We are missing Riley but it is hard to track down an almost teenager! :) Well I am sure there will be more stories for next week. Have a great holiday! |

wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 20
This weekend went by so FAST! Tenille and I got hair cuts and went to several craft shows. J got an 8 point on Saturday morning at my Grandparent's house. We had our 2nd annual calendar day on Sunday while the men all hunted. They came back and it was nice eating with the guys for dinner on Sunday. Tenille has learned to growl when you say, "What does a lion sound like?" J taught her that one! She is not so sure about her winter coat. She kinda looks like the stay puft marshmellow man (in strawberry of course). We are pretty sure that she has grown a ton this week. (I think it is because I sent out some christmas lists with her size on them) Anything that is one piece is barely fitting her in the 18 month size. I guess she is getting her daddy's long legs. It was like one morning her jammies fit, and the next, not so much! :) We have had a pretty busy week and this week doesn't look like it will get much better but, we are enjoying them all the same! :) I know this one is short this week but I guess I hit the highlights. :) I am sure you are all counting down to New Moon coming out on Friday. If you don't know what that is . . well google it! :) Hope all is well! |

wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 19
Isn't this an awesome picture?
|
Well I am a day late in getting out the "wogoman weekly" but a lot is going on at work and at home so I am sure that you all understand. At school this week we are being evaluated for our IB program for next year. IB is a program that we are hoping to start next year. It is supposed to be a great program to help students get ready for college and make them more "well rounded". I am going in February to be trained so I can let you know more then! Don't worry, it won't interfere with our annual scrapbooking trip! As for at home, well I'll give you one word, leaves. I have never been so happy about leaves as I am this year. We have spent hours cleaning up around our house and we are both loving it. I know we sound crazy but it is so fun to be OUTSIDE and not have 12 students drive by and honk, wave, and or try to run over us! Sunday we set the "pasture" on fire. We were knee deep in leaves and couldn't really get them out so we blew them into piles and torched it. I am sure J and I are contributing to the While Tenille took her naps Sunday I powerwashed the deck, some of the house, and some of the pool deck. My awesome dad came and hooked up our outside water facets Saturday. For some reason we had NO running water outside. We are so very lucky to have such a good plumber in the family! I'm sure Tenille was big help moving everything around for him! I am pretty sure that the powerwasher is my favorite machine we own. I could powerwash all day. I think it is because everything is SO CLEAN when you are done. Our deck went from dark nasty mossy brown, to a light clean brown that isn't slippery. I blasted off chunks of moss the size of my fingers. Gross I know! I also blasted everything that even looks like it might belong to a spider. I hate those things and they know it. When I stopped once to have J refilled the powerwasher (because I ran through a full tank!) J picked off a spider from my shoulder. Uhhhhhgggggg! I found a spot on our pool deck that said 1979 and maybe Diana or Dana. I am not sure. I also found a spot that said L.S. but the rest if there is any more is covered up by the hot tub. Guess I had a lot to say today. J and I went Christmas shopping Saturday and got Tenille all sorts of good stuff. So fun! Tenille learned to say Owl and Pepper over the weekend. Ms. Mary Ellen from daycare says Tenille knows blue, red, yellow, and green colors. I tried it once with her and she got it all right. So I get out the camera and nope not even close. That's my girl. Well I think that is it. I survived another parent teacher conference and am starting to count down to Christmas! Remember I am having a Wildtree party at our house on November 19th at |

wogoman weekly volume 2 issue 18
|
Well, I just couldn't decide on 3 pictures this week so I uploaded more to the blog! Is it my fault that Tenille is so stinkin cute? Well, maybe it is!? Probably it is mostly Jason's! :) We have been enjoying the outside as much as possible. We went to church yesterday and then worked outside the rest of the day. I can barely type this because my arms are so tired. Leaf blowers and trimmers are heavy but then when you think I was mostly caring Tenille in the other arm at the same time . . . well no wonder my arms are tired! Tenille loves to be where we are and that usually means riding the tractor with J or in my arms. She went to her first Halloween party on Saturday. She got a goodie bag and had fun playing with the toy and other kids. She REALLY liked the rice crispy treats! I put a tattoo on her arm and she has since insisted that it is an "owie" and wants you to kiss it. Pretty funny! If you cover it up is mostly forgets that it is there. After the party we went to see J at the fire station. He was dressed in his ape suit and Tenille was not so sure of him! Even after the head and hands came off Tenille really didn't like it. :) We are giving the H1N1 shots here at school today. Teachers can't get them because we are not "at risk" but apparently the students are. So strange. I don't want one but that is besides the point! Tenille got her regular flu shot but that is it because the doctor doesn't have the other one in. Tenille's vocabulary continues to grow everyday. I am working on Ta Da! with her. She can say owie and do the sign for hurt. She even is trying to jump. This means she squats down and stands up on her tip toes and then looks so proud of herself! I just can't believe that she is getting so big! She is trying to pull herself up onto everything, including the couch and sink and the dogs. They don't really like that much! Hope you all had a GREAT week! |

wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 17
J and t watching to Norte Dame game! Notice the cute outfit?
| This past weekend with all the family wore us out! Tenille hasn't slept very well since then, meaning we have all not slept very well since then. Last night t and I were up from 12:30 to 3:30am sitting outside trying to get here cough to lessen. Poor thing! Tenille has started using the sign for milk (which I didn't teach her) and the sign for fan (I did teach her that one). She tries to repeat everything we say and most of the time gets it pretty much sound for sound. She runs everywhere. No wonder she is so skinny! This week J and I got a lot of work done around the house. I was so proud that I washed all the windows in the house. Then I realized that I had forgot about all the ones downstairs. Ugh . . . but the ones I did wash look awesome and I even climbed on the roof and got the skylights. I know, a little extreme but what a difference. Tenille just kept pointing at them like she just figured out they are there! J burned up some of his piles of leaves and tree parts. He picked up all the leaves in the whole yard, only to have even more leaves come down while we were working! But every little bit now helps for later! I got to use the leaves for compost so I was happy! While J was picking up leaves this week, Tenille rode with him. It was so much fun it put her to sleep. So cute! There is one case of H1N1 at Tenille's daycare so everyone keep your fingers crossed that she doesn't get it. :) I attached a picture of her in her new "meal time seat" she has been put away from everyone so she doesn't steal their food, hug them, or fed her food to them. She is becoming such a people person! Everyone pray we start getting more sleep. :) Our little girl and her phones! |
