wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 17

J and t watching to Norte Dame game! Notice the cute outfit?

This past weekend with all the family wore us out! Tenille hasn't slept very well since then, meaning we have all not slept very well since then. Last night t and I were up from 12:30 to 3:30am sitting outside trying to get here cough to lessen. Poor thing!

Tenille has started using the sign for milk (which I didn't teach her) and the sign for fan (I did teach her that one). She tries to repeat everything we say and most of the time gets it pretty much sound for sound. She runs everywhere. No wonder she is so skinny!

This week J and I got a lot of work done around the house. I was so proud that I washed all the windows in the house. Then I realized that I had forgot about all the ones downstairs. Ugh . . . but the ones I did wash look awesome and I even climbed on the roof and got the skylights. I know, a little extreme but what a difference. Tenille just kept pointing at them like she just figured out they are there! J burned up some of his piles of leaves and tree parts. He picked up all the leaves in the whole yard, only to have even more leaves come down while we were working! But every little bit now helps for later! I got to use the leaves for compost so I was happy! While J was picking up leaves this week, Tenille rode with him. It was so much fun it put her to sleep. So cute!
There is one case of H1N1 at Tenille's daycare so everyone keep your fingers crossed that she doesn't get it. :) I attached a picture of her in her new "meal time seat" she has been put away from everyone so she doesn't steal their food, hug them, or fed her food to them. She is becoming such a people person!

Everyone pray we start getting more sleep. :)

Just for Uncle Mark!

All the grandkids and Grandma!

Tenille eating a flashlight (what doesn't the girl eat?)

Here we are getting pumpkins. Tenille liked the ride in the wagon better than anything else. Turkeys, goats, ponies, none of them were as cool as the wagon!

Using her phone!

wogoman weekly - issue 2 volume 16

Words words and more words. Oh my this girl is a talking machine. She now knows, mine! shoe, bow, tries banana (her new favorite food), and my favorite, Elmo. Which cracks me up because we hardly have done anything with Elmo. She came home Monday from school and was pointing at a book with Elmo in it and said Elmo. So cute!

We were able to do yard work last weekend and Tenille helped move the chopped up wood. I mean a girl has to earn her keep around our house! Ok so she was hauling and picking up sticks the size of her finger but she really thought she was helping a ton and she was! She did fall into a hole while helping. I turned for like one second and into the 3 inch hole she went. She started crying but when I went to pick her up I couldn't help but laugh. Her whole face was covered in saw dust, eye lashes, eye brows everything!

Tenille sent her first text message awhile ago and now she has called one of my friends. I walk into the sun room to hear the speaker phone saying, "Tenille did you call me? Is that you?" So glad that it was someone I know! :) We tired giving her a "fake phone" which is an old phone we charge up for her but she has learned that is not the REAL phone and doesn't want it anymore! We found an old cell phone and gave that to her this morning. She is so excited but sobbed when I left it in the car so she could go to daycare!

At daycare, she has had to be moved around the lunch table again. She was sitting next to Adian but she started hugging him. So they put her next to Ryan and now has been moved because she was feeding him. :) This might turn out to be a texting flirting girl and she is only 15 months old!
Tuesday night was a hard night for me. J was working, I left my glasses in the car (so I couldn't see), Tenille got up crying, the light bulb had burned out and I couldn't find the light switch. It was not a good time. I had to turn on all sorts of light to see (thus waking her up more) so I didn't run into anything like a wall! It took awhile to get her back to sleep after all that! Still don't know what is wrong with her. We think she is getting another tooth which would bring the total to 13. So many!
Our weekend envolved a lot of family from both sides and it wore out poor Tenille! She took a 2.5 hour nap Sunday. It was awesome. I had time to run to JcPenny and J got to cut more trees. :) It was so good to see everyone and Tenille warmed right up to them! We got pumpkins, but Tenille wasn't so sure about the how thing but we will see what she thinks once the craving starts! :)

Tenille and Grandpa

Grandpa and Grandma watched Tenille on Tuesday. Grandpa and Tenille went for a walk in the woods. Grandpa likes to show Tenille all the plants and animals out there. He also mentioned to her that she got a bath when she got back. She came running in the house doing the sign for bath. Boy does that girl love her baths!

wogoman weekly issue 2 volume 15

Is everyone loving the rain like we are here? J and I are wanting to work out side on our house and the weather has really kept us inside. We have unpacking more boxes and J can now fit in the garage with me. It has been a long time since that happened!

Tenille and my family completed the Breast Cancer Walk in middlebury last weekend. Tenille feel asleep on the walk just like last year! Maybe next year she will be big enough for a shirt!

Tenille has gotten even more teeth. I have stopped putting the oragel on with my finger because she bites and darn it that hurts! She now has 4 on top, 4 on bottom, and molars that I can't even count! I will try get a figure this weekend. :)

Tenille is learning more sign language at daycare. They watched a video to help them and it had the word bath on it. Tenille loves baths and as soon as they started talking about baths, our daughter started taking her clothes off! :) She is doing so well with the new lady at daycare. She is learning to color (see the video on the blog) and is learning where her eyes, head, and tummy are. So fun!

Tenille is still fascinated with shoes. Everyone's shoes. She wants to help put them on and she carries them around. She is also doing a great job unpacking things that are still in boxes. Unfortunately I am usually not ready for whatever she is bringing out!

I have enjoyed 2 nights already reading in my sun room! It is so GREAT in there. I am sure that you guys will never find me come this summer. I have been reading some books on gardening. I can't wait for spring! :)

Well, I think that is about it. I had a cute video of Tenille rocking in her new rocking chair but it won't load on the blog. :( All in all Tenille loves the new house and we are so happy about that! Our pastor at church this past week was talking about people blogging and using face book. He mentioned that we all use it to brag about ourselves instead of telling everyone what good God is doing in our lives. So I just want you all to know that our little family is feeling so blessed right now. We are healthy, we are living in the house we have prayed for, we are watching Tenille grow, and we have all of you! Thanks for being in our lives! I can't believe how lucky we are! Have a great weekend.

wogoman weekly - volume 2 issue 14

"Lights, lights, lights!  Where are the stupid lights?  Who put that wall there?  And my favorite: How did that little door handle leave such a bruise on my arm?"
We absolutely love our new house, it however, seems to change in the dark (when T gets up or the dogs need out) and I have run into all sorts of things.  We now have night lights in the hallway to help me out!  J seems to be handling it better.  He did get attacked by a drawer knob but he lived to tell the tale!

We got the hot tub up and running.  Our first night in it, it was POURING rain.  So cold outside, so warm inside the tub! We loved it!

The house is about 1/3 unpacked and put away.  We are looking forward to making a big dent in it this weekend!  Well at least I am!
Marvin came up to see everyone this week.  It was awesome to see him.  Tenille warmed up to him pretty quickly which was awesome to see.
Tenille is trying to imitate everything we say and do.  She has really mastered the art of brushing her teeth.  Which by the way she now has a ton of!  I have lost count!  She is coloring at school which means the projects are coming in!  She was also "moved" from her breakfast/lunch table spot because Abbie and her were hugging each other during the meals.  This made a big mess so she now is across from Abbie to avoid that problem! :)  She is always such a handful!  Well since I have no Internet at home I am sending this early.  I posted more pictures on the blog.  Have a great day!
