wogoman weekly - volume 4 issue 23

Chicago! What a city!

We went up for the weekend to visit my brother Mark. We had such a great time. We went to the German Christmas market. Went up and down 16 escalators (a word that Tenille can say VERY well because she likes riding them so much) at Macy's. Went to Winter Fest on Navy pier. While there she road Thomas the train, built a bear, test drove jeep, and watched all the people!

The food there is so good and Tenille did great in the restaurants. She was so tired that she passed out after building her bear and slept the whole way from Navy pier to the L back to wrigglyvile. Everyone on the L thought she was so cute because she was still clutching her new bear named "Peek a boo" the whole time. She made a blue bear with a red dress. She then decided to name another of her bears "I see you" So we have peek a boo and I see you. Clever right?

On the way home we of course stopped at Cabela's and finished up our Christmas shopping. :) And guess what? They have escalators there too. So Tenille and I spent a good chunk of our time riding the escalators.

All in all the trip was great success. It rained a little but not bad (we just hide inside stores when it started to rain)

Got another full week of school but only 13 more school days until break. I am not sure to be happy about that or worry. That equals out to only 4 more days with my classes before midterms start and some of my students are not ready.

We lost a mess of trees and grapevines when all the snow melted. We came home, looked out the living room windows and went "oh my" Guess we have more firewood! :) We have tackled most of the vines by the house but the ones down below . . well they are still growing. :(

Hank is doing great and Sasha is keeping him occupied most of the time. Good thing we have her. :) I hope your week goes well.
